Lesson 1 Do not make financial crisis an excuse. Never become the slave of Fashion.
Ask:I find it hard to sleep all night these days because of financial crisis. My husband asks me to cut expenses. But it makes me fidgeted to live a calculated life. Is it possible to look fashionable if wearing cheap clothes?
Karl : The key point is that you should sleep sound and have sweet dreams instead of nightmares of financial crisis. You should make clear that whether you husband makes the crisis an excuse. If you have sharp eyes, you can find stylish clothes at different pricing zones. Expensive clothes is not necessary to be in vague. Do not use expensive clothes to cover your doubts and worries. No matter what you wear, cheap clothes or expensive dress, just be confident. Never be the slave of fashion. Always put yourself at first place.
Lesson 2: Buy one size smaller and eat less to keep good shape.You can look perfect in simple T-shirt and jean.
Ask: When I wear the white T-shirt and bleached jeans, I always afraid that my friends will think that I am as poor as a church house. What a image it will be
Karl: If you are in good shape, you can still stand out in T-shirt and Jeans. If you are not, then eat less and buy a size smaller. Bleached jeans are nothing new. They has been popular for quite a long time. Never neglect your make-up and pay special attention to your skin and hairstyle. They are more important than expensive clothes. God, what kinds of friends you have? Remember, dress up and make up just for yourself but never for other women.
Lessons 3, Buy what you do not have, what you really want and what makes you exciting to mix with what you own now. You can create fresh style for yourself
Ask: I always think about what to buy next? What the hell I should buy? New coat, lace shirt, pearl necklace or designer bags?
Karl: First of all, look at you current coats, lace shirts and pearl necklaces. They look about the same, right? Well, they are not new items now. So why not buy something new and exciting to mix your current clothes for a fresh look? It is naive to burn you money for shopping impulse. Well, I know it is popular way to kill time by wandering from one shop to another. But seriously, you must kill time in a smarter way.
