Inspired by the Belle Epoque of Paris, Boucheron recently launched the Gaité Parisienne high jewelry collection, including seven distinct sets of jewelry.
Paying tribute to the opulence and grandeur of Paris life, each set of Jewelry is named after an Iconic French women who acts as the Muse in its creation. The seven women-Louise, Irma, Jeanne, Satine, Loïe, Josephine and Lucie-represented different facets of the gold age. Their unique characters and style are faithfully reflected on the new jewelry collection.
The Josephine necklace, for example, is consist of two strings of rubies, pink stones and violet sapphires. The interlacing flowers are also composed of top-class stones, including a 5.01-carat oval rosy sapphire and a 4.30-carat oval rosy sapphire. These precious stones are naturally blended into the abstract –style design.

The Loe large necklace features a colorful floral cluster that is set with rubies, pink sapphires, light purple sapphires and deep blue sapphires. A dazzling 25-carat cushion cut sapphire sits at the center of the necklace, pushing the luxury beauty to extremes. The vivid leaves naturally wind down, glowing the shines of emerals and diamonds.
The Jeanne jewelry set consists of two pairs of earrings, a big ring, a bangle watch with stones and a luxury necklace. The components of the Jeanne necklace are Baba Rum cake, cream fruit and Black Forest Cake, make of rubies, sapphire and coral. At the top there is a diamond cream. The rings, watch and earrings also feature pastry shapes but glow the shines of precious stones. And the bangle watch is subtly concealed under a pretty cake.
The Lucieémilie necklace is inspired by the famous Paris hetaera who also named Valtesse de La Bigne. She was the most famous hetaira in early 20th century and also the muse of many renowned artists.
